    Description

Collectors here is a very nice stoneware jug with advertising for H. A. Johnson Bakers and Confectioners Supplies. With the state abbreviation "Mass."  it is definitely pre 1955. My guess would be 1910-1930. I consider this mint, no chips or cracks, the photo of the bottom is just color variation of the clay. The base is 4 inches across, it is 8 inches tall. Bright and shiny, it will display very well.
UPDATE: The company was founded by Henry Augustus Johnson some time before 1872 as it's buildings were destroyed by the Great Fire of 1872. Signs were erected in front of the new buildings in 1875. An ad in Bakers Review (Nov. 1917) advertised their baking supplies.
