The SATA motherboard connected to the SAS hard disk must meet one of the following conditions, otherwise it cannot be used:
1. The first motherboard supports SAS
2. Or you connect an external SAS card
3. Or your SAS hard drive supports SATA mode
This product generally has 2 usages:
1. Separate the data and power supply of the SATA hard disk interface, connect the motherboard SATA interface and the power cord, which can be directly connected. Before using the SATA motherboard, some motherboards must be set to the AHCI mode (optional RAID mode for RAID)
2. Separate the data and power supply of the SAS hard disk interface, connect the motherboard SAS interface SFF-8482 and the power cord, which can be directly connected.
Friendly reminder: This product cannot be used to connect a SAS hard disk to the SATA port of a normal motherboard, and there is no such line. The SAS interface is supported by a chip, not a line. Please confirm it clearly (unless your SAS hard disk supports SATA mode , Or SATA motherboard with SAS chip)
