Hard disk end interface U.2 (originally called SFF-8639)
1. SFF-8639 is a solid-state or mechanical hard disk interface for 2.5-inch storage, which has PCI-E/SATA/SAS signals.
2. SFF-8639 commission has 6 channels
4 Channels (marked in red below) are exclusively for PCI-E to directly connect to the CPU

NVME SSD installation conditions:
1. PCI-E4X 8X 16 X
2. Please install for WIN 10 system, for WIN 7 needs to install the driver, the speed cannot be improved.
3. A motherboard that does not support the NV ME protocol cannot be used as a system disk, but can only be used as a storage disk
INTEL motherboard chipset:
B250, B150, H170, Z170, as long as the motherboard has an M.2 interface, it generally supports NVME.
Z97 is partially supported, please check the official website or BIOS for the NVME option
B85 Z87 needs to update BIOS to support. Some manufacturers have already provided BIOS that supports NVME, such as ASUS and ASRock, etc. If the official does not have one, you can hardly change the BIOS by yourself. Check the tutorial online. You need a certain amount of hands-on ability and risk of damaging the motherboard. . (Most B85s do not provide M.2 interface, you can use our M.2 to PCI-E adapter card)
Older motherboards can basically be abandoned or find a way to install them
AMD motherboard chipset:
Support B350X370X399A320, which means that NVME must be supported by RYZEN CPU motherboard.
Note:
1. This card can support 2.5-inch SATA hard disks, and the SATA cable must be connected to the motherboard SATA port when using it. Note that the motherboard must support PCI-E3.0 to run to high speed.
